CHRISTIAN ASSEMBLY ENTERING THIRD MILLENNIUM
«We are now at the turn of the third millennium, which means that we must look at the past from the standpoint of all mankind,» said Patriarch Filaret of Kyiv and All Rus’-Ukraine in the opening address. «We may speak of the impact the Christian faith has had on all walks of life, on the development of European culture, architecture, art, music, and law... However, this event basically means that every individual, the entire human race must reassess values and do so in their hearts. Let us think together; what does Christmas mean to all of us? Why was the Son of God sent down to join the mortals and have we really lived up to His expectations?»
Eternal questions. Waiting to be answered. Now, as two thousand years ago, no answers can be found in books. Only in our souls...
