All dolls are painted in red and white, reinforcing impressiveness and energetic of the exhibition. Thus, Natalia Dolhannikova’s works The Little Prince and Dream impress with mental openness; classic Love Story by Tetiana Inosova recalls the immortal love of Romeo and Juliet; the exhibition also includes playful Amorous Affairs by Viktoria Mendel, Magic Bird by Viktoria Bondiukhova, Charivari by Vlasta Lavrenchuk, and ironically typical characters of Lana Ovchynnikova’s Woman with Eggs, Little Scarlet Mushroom and Sweet Berry.

The event also offers paintings by Tetiana Rusetska (her series “Red Stands for Love” lent its name to the exhibition). Let us recall that this artist is well-known among theater audience, as her scenery is now used by the Kyiv Theater of Drama and Comedy on the Left Bank, while the first impression left by Rusetska’s paintings, especially given the recent events in Ukraine, is a lot of blood. It drips from the paintings, fills the gallery space, flows into the viewer... Meanwhile, the white background evokes a feeling of purity, concentration, and will power. Intertwined flowers merge into odd images, here and there dissolving into bright-red blots, as if an embroideress pricked her finger but continued to work...

The exhibition will be open until April 20.
