The Kharkiv Alexander Pushkin Academic Russian Drama Theater has announced it is starting its own charity effort, allowing refugees from Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions to attend the theater for free. They will be required to produce passports with an appropriate note of registration and will be allowed in provided that seats are available in the auditorium, the official website of the Kharkiv Oblast State Administration’s Department of Culture and Tourism reports.
The great stage of the Kharkiv Taras Shevchenko Academic Ukrainian Drama Theater will host a charity performance of Mykola Kulish’s Myna Mazailo. The proceeds will go to support the Ukrainian army.
Let us recall that the theater’s company donated to the Kharkiv Military Hospital on August 22 and September 3 necessities and personal care items for the wounded participants of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) who were undergoing treatment there. A team of the theater’s actors held a concert on September 6 for the soldiers of the National Guard of Ukraine who were undergoing military training in the city before going to the ATO area.
