Finale of the Fashion Year

High fashion in a given country takes shape within that country. In any case, such was the patriotic motto put forth by the magazines Eve and L’Officiel-Ukraine (the latter recently celebrated its anniversary). In fact, both periodicals have shown true dedication to the motto of trying to translate into life in a most consistent manner. Eve, sponsoring the Fashion Seasons, has stepped up its Ukrainian high fashion exports outside Kyiv by the end of the year. The Ukrainian Fashion Game took place in St. Petersburg no so long ago, then at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow on Thursday (more on this in coming issues).

The Kyiv fashion-loving audience will receive their present on December 5, in the Fashion Game’s finale scheduled for 19:30 at 22 Hrushevsky Street. Eve will present Oleksandr Hapchuk. Currently in his couturier prime, who will demonstrate a purely macho approach to aristocratic male and refined high society female fashion designs. The L’Officiel-Ukraine will feature the noted Italian designer Antonio Berardi whose clientele boasts the names of Madonna, Whitney Houston, David and Victoria Beckham, Janet Jackson, etc. Among the models will be the celebrated Eve Herzegova.
