March 19: 1918. The bodies of the cadet brigade killed by Bolsheviks at Kruty were reburied.

1992. A protocol was signed on cooperation between Ukraine and Armenia.

March 20: 1917. Mykhailo Hrushevsky was elected head of the Central Rada.

1944. In course of Proskuriv-Chernivtsi operation troops of the First Ukrainian Front took Vinnytsia and forced a crossing of South Buh River.

March 21: 1978. A plenary session of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Ukraine passed its decision On the Constitution and State Anthem of Ukrainian SSR.

1982. US President Ronald Reagan signed a declaration On the Day of Ukrainian Helsinki Group, the first presidential act in the US referring exclusively to Ukraine.

March 22 : 1994. The Banknote Factory of the National Bank of Ukraine was opened in Kyiv.

1995. The State Duma of Russia passed a declaration On Our Attitude Toward Verkhovna Rada’s Decision on the Crimea and a decision In Connection with Verkhovna Rada’s Decision on the Crimea.

March 23: 1993. The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine registered the State Independence of Ukraine all-Ukrainian political union.

1994. An agreement was signed in Brussels On Partnership and Cooperation between Ukraine and the European Union.

March 24: 1935. A monument to Taras Shevchenko by sculptor Matviy Manizer was unveiled in Kharkiv.

1980. A council of the Ukrainian Catholic Church began in Rome, electing Metropolitan Myroslav Liubachivsky successor to Metropolitan Cardinal Yosyp Slipy.

March 25: 1651. An army leaded by Colonel Ivan Bohun defeated the Poles at Vinnytsia.

1993. The National Central Bureau of Interpol in Ukraine was created.
