Croatia Proposes Free Trade to Ukraine

At the beginning of last week Zlatko Tomcic, the speaker of the Croatian Sabor (parliament), arrived in Kyiv at the invitation of Verkhovna Rada. On the last day of his visit, Tomcic met with Kyiv Mayor Oleksandr Omelchenko (center). At his meeting with Ivan Pliushch the day before, Tomcic spoke positively about signing treaties on free trade and free oil and gas transport. He also supported the idea of increasing Ukraine’s status in the Southeast Europe Stability Pact (it currently has observer status) and the strategy of the restoring navigation of the Danube.
