"HAPPY NEW YEAR WITHOUT TKACHENKO!"

Last week the All-Ukrainian Youth, Ukraine's Hope Association and Youth Movement picketed Verkhovna Rada, protesting Speaker Tkachenko's pro-Moscow policy.
Interviewed by Interfax Ukraine, one of the organizers, People's Deputy Taras Shamaida, stated that "during his last visit to Moscow Speaker Tkachenko in reality betrayed Ukraine's national interests."
The pickets chanted, "Tkachenko, come out!" and sang a New Year's carol,
adding "Happy New Year without Tkachenko!"
