Diplomatic Corps Helps

The International Women's Club has held its traditional People to People charity bazaar. The pre-Christmas action, in which accredited diplomatic missions took part, for several years has been thus collecting money for humanitarian aid to the homeless, handicapped, and poor pensioners in Ukraine's capital.
This year the charity committee failed to carry out so large an action
as last year in Ukrainian House. And the Teachers' House lacks the space
for last year's record 6000 visitors. Nevertheless, the money raised will
be substantial and will be given directly to the poor, orphanages, and
boarding schools.
