Festival of New Year gifts in Chernivtsi

Chernivtsi residents saw original works presented by over 90 artists from the city itself, Kolomyia, Kamianets-Podilsky, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Lutsk, Khmelnytsky, Kyiv, Feodosia, and other Ukrainian cities. Visitors could choose a gift assembled from decorations made in different techniques and from different materials. In addition, the festival included an hourly free workshop where Chernivtsi residents and guests of the city alike were taught to make leather decorations, wire New Year tree stars, felt New Year toys, vintage brooches from fabric and lace, clay sculptures, etc.
