There are seven players on the list: Eduard Sobol, Ruslan Rotan (both Slavia, the Czech Republic), Yevhen Konoplianka (Schalke, Germany), Vladlen Yurchenko (Bayer, Germany), Oleksandr Zinchenko (Manchester City, England), Ruslan Malynovskyi (Genk, Belgium), and Yevhen Shakhov (PAOK, Greece). It will be recalled that Rotan, Yurchenko, and Zinchenko were not called up for the national team last time. The full list of the national team players will be announced later.

As it was announced earlier, the national team of Ukraine will begin training for the 2018 World Cup qualifying tournament on August 28 in Kharkiv. On August 29, at 6 p.m., the conference hall of the Melalist club stadium will host a press conference of Ukraine’s head coach Andrii Shevchenko, and the team will hold an open training session at 6:30 p.m. Experts are saying the only drawback is that the national team’s basic clubs, Dynamo and Shakhtar, will have to play matches of the Ukrainian Premier League’s 7th round on August 27, just a day before the gathering. Shevchenko’s team will stay in Kharkiv until September 3. The matches will be held on September 2 and 5: Ukraine-Turkey in Kharkiv at the Metalist stadium and Iceland-Ukraine in Reykjavik at the Laugardalsvoellur stadium. Now, after six rounds, the national team of Ukraine is No. 4 in Group 1 with 11 points.
