“Ukrainian Christmas”

As the masterminds told The Day, an art project “Ukrainian Christmas,” which has already become a tradition, much popular with visitors, has been held at the Taras Shevchenko National Museum for over 10 years during the winter holiday season. The exhibition includes works by Ukrainian artists featuring a variety of Christmas-themed artworks. These are paintings, graphic works, embroidered icons, ceramics and other creations by contemporary artists and craftsmen. Among them are Anastasia Rak, Vasyl Korchynsky, Yevhen Leshchenko, Orest Maniuk, Oksana Ivanochko, Vasyl Kopaihorenko, Oleksii Shevchuk, and others.

By the way, now an exhibition of the project “Together with Taras” is presented at the Shevchenko National Museum. Within the framework of this exhibition, the project organizer Maria Kovalevska holds master classes, and works created by participants will soon be added to the general exhibition, which will be presented in various parts of our country and abroad.
