This event, already slated for inclusion in the Olympic program, also
dazzles the eye with extravagant costumes and gestures. Here 250 couples
competed in the capital's traditional tournament organized by the Kyiv
Dance Center. The judges favor fell on two locals, Yuri Vasiuk and Yana
Yatsenko, while the Russians, as always, also danced up a storm, The
